About TRADE WINS
Welcome to the TRADE WINS podcast, I am your host, Tara Solberg, the founder of Few and Far and Indigo Love, two halves of one thriving business. I am a south-coast girl from a small town, and when I launched my business over 10 years ago, I had no idea what I was doing.
What I did have was passion, drive and a commitment to learn as much as possible on my way. I will take you through each chapter of my unique business story. You will get real insight into the lows and highs, the trials and triumphs, and the many, many lessons learnt.
In fact, I will share all of the things I wish I knew when I was starting out all those years ago. So consider this your personal invitation to take the first step on the journey of a lifetime towards owning your own business.

Why in the world would I want to start a podcast?
In this welcome message, Tara Solberg introduces her latest project, The TRADE WINS Podcast. The series features stories of her own personal experience of building her furniture and homewares business Few and Far into the multi-million dollar brand it has become, as well as interviews with industry experts, creatives and makers that have inspired her along the way.

Rookie Errors and Growing Pains
In this episode, I confess the mistakes and 'rookie errors' that Danny and I made in the early years of operating Few and Far. I talk about the importance of being organised ahead of the Christmas period and the things you may not have thought about when selling furniture!

Mixing Business with Marriage
In this episode, I sit down with my Husband Danny to chat about how we have navigated building a business as a married couple and why that has worked for us. While there have been challenges, there have also been some massive wins, but neither of us would have it any other way.

Serendipity and a Sliding Doors Moment
